Putting on Vibram FiveFingers for the first time is an opportunity to rediscover your feet. Start by sitting down, loosening any straps or laces, and gently stretching your toes to help them spread naturally.

Bend the heel down, slide your foot in, and use your fingers to guide each toe into the correct pocket. The smallest toe can be a bit tricky, so take your time and adjust it gently. Once all toes are in place, pull the heel up and secure the closure system.
