Nike and Vibram have formed an exciting partnership that outlines a plan to bring Vibram’s leading technology and exclusive sole design to a range of Nike’s trail footwear offering. The first product in this collaboration is the highly anticipated Nike Ultrafly Trail racing shoe, which features Vibram’s innovative trail running compounds Litebase and Megagrip, and our patented Traction Lug design. Combined with Nike’s upper technology, the resulting shoe gives trail runners the speed, comfort and grip they need to navigate challenging trails. Throughout the design process, the shoes were elaborately trail-tested by Nike’s team of elite trail athletes, and later validated by Team Vibram elite trail and ultra runners in the field.
