Vibram Japan Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that the "UTMB® World Series," for which it is the global official sole and technology supplier, will make its debut in Japan. The event, titled "Kaga Spa Trail Endurance 100 by UTMB," will take place in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, from June 19th to 22nd, 2025. Vibram Japan will also participate in this event.

The ""UTMB®"" (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc) is a premier trail running event held in the Alps, spanning France, Switzerland, and Italy. Runners tackle a challenging 170km course around Mont Blanc, making it one of the most prestigious events in trail running. The ""UTMB® World Series"" includes races across Asia, Oceania, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, promoting self-transcendence, fair play, and environmental respect.

In 2023, Vibram announced a global partnership with the UTMB® World Series, becoming the official sole technology supplier for the 2023-2025 seasons. In Japan, the ""Kaga Spa Trail Endurance 100 by UTMB"" will be held for the first time, featuring 100km, 50km, and 20km races in the scenic mountains of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. This event will also support the recovery the Noto Peninsula from 2024's earthquake and revitalize the local area.
