The collaboration represents a further step in the evolution of the Vibram Work & Safety division, with a development approach based on direct feedback from professional users. Through real-world testing, Gheller operators’ experience contributes to the optimization of sole designs and compounds, enhancing grip, traction, stability and durability across Vibram solutions.
The partnership builds on a relationship that began in 2021 and is based on a shared vision: transforming field experience into concrete innovation by placing the end user at the center of product development.
The project will also support the evolution of Vibram technologies dedicated to professional outdoor applications, including Vibram® Megagrip Pro, the latest-generation compound designed to deliver superior grip on uneven terrain and in challenging conditions.
Among the models currently used by Gheller featuring Vibram technology are:
- AKU Superalp OCP GTX, featuring Vibram® Fourà sole, developed to provide stability, protection and slip resistance on rugged terrain.
- Zamberlan Mountain Lite GTX RR, equipped with Vibram® Teton sole featuring Zamberlan PCS system, designed to deliver grip, precision and reliability even in the most demanding environments.
