Vibram Japan Co., Ltd. collaborated with the sneaker shop "atmos" to hold a 10-day limited pop-up event from December 6th to December 15th in Tokyo. The event, part of Vibram's "#REPAIR IF YOU CARE" project, aimed to promote the reuse and customization of shoes to extend their lifecycle. It focused on sneaker repairs and customization, with skilled craftsmen offering consultations and repairs, featuring Vibram soles. A special booth displayed repaired sneakers, and customers could experience Vibram’s grip technology. The event helped raise awareness about shoe repair.
Additionally, the "Vibram SOLE FACTOR" service, previously available only to businesses, is now offered to the public at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi in Tokyo. This service allows customers to replace soles and enhance their shoes' functionality according to fashion preferences.
During the pop-up event, Mr. Sakaki and Mr. Takada from "RESH." handled sneaker repairs and customization, while "Shoe Doctor" Nakada Shokai, a Vibram-certified expert, provided his specialized services for shoe repairs, particularly hiking boots.
