Reponsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new product lines and styles as well as extend current collections
  • Inspire and manage the design team to develop new creative ideas and designs
  • Guide the conceptualization and illustration of product within the footwear segment, incorporating fresh, contemporary and technologically advanced ideas
  • Create, manage and maintain footwear innovative development as well as styles for market and customer needs
  • Coordinate all the Designers to provide suitable ideas, designs and materials in respect of the product development calendar
  • Oversee product line direction, able to stay through to the brand concept
  • Be responsible for implementing new product strategies that drive long-term success and the achievement of the company goals

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Industrial or Fashion Design or a related-area
  • Preferred 5 years of product development experience, design experience
  • Proven track record ability to create/develop concepts and specs that optimize the function, value and appearance of products
  • Comprehensive understanding of footwear design, manufacturing, material specification, sourcing and commercialization
  • Background in technical materials or performance apparel/footwear is a plus
  • Project management and process improvement practice experience

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, verbal and organization skills
  • Excellent in written & spoken English
  • Computer literate.
