A double victory for Spain with the skyrunning world champion titles going to ranking leaders Luis Hernando and Oihana Kortazar, respectively third and second in their category at the last race of Sentiero delle Grigne, this past September 18 in Lecco (Italy).

Though the race winners were Britain’s Tom Owens (2h23’54’’) and Italy’s Emanuela Brizio (2h57’52’’), the two Spanish athletes’ final placement ensured them the ultimate supremacy of the series, a circuit which embraced 11 countries across 4 continents and had its high-altitude adrenaline adventures always partnered by Vibram.
