LOWA X-Alp Alpine Touring skiboot features a hull with three different structured zones:

• the extra-soft bellow zone;
• the high-stiff binding and rear support zone
• the hull envelop zone, with the two materials mixed together.

This peculiar configuration allows at one time a perfect heel block, an increase of ski performance and a better forward flexion while going up with skins.

The double catch system, with a velcro strep integrated, features a double rack which allows to move forward the lever’s cover and, as a result, makes the foot’s articulation easier. By using a new lever in magnesium alloy, this systems enhance resistance and lightness, while the asymmetrical lines of its innovative design allow an easy snow release.

Its lining is in light, resistant and flexible polyethylene. By allowing its top part to free itself from the rest, the new construction of this skiboot’s coupling guarantees maximum flexibility both in downhill and uphill. The traditional laced closing system is here replaced by a lighter and easier elastic strip featuring a final hook.

The light and resistant aluminium lever of the patented new Ski-walk system is able to unblock the cuff, bring the spoiler down at the same time and, as a result, let the leg free on the top.

A toe and heel in Pebax material and the VIBRAM® X-Alp sole enrich LOWA X-Alp skiboot.
