The design objective of the BESTARD Sky Peak is to combine two features which are seemingly polar opposites: on the one hand maximal rigidity and optimal foul-weather protection, and on the other hand truly minimal weight.

Apart from being an ideal boot for more extreme activities (winter Big Walls and ice-climbing), it also features a great versatility in a range of different mountaineering activities.

• Upper: made of unbreakable and yet very light Schoeller Keprotech with 35% black Kevlar, combined with Lorica leather and rubber rand

• Lacing: extended to the toe area and fitted with the Quick-lock system, enabling laces to be tightened differentially for a precise fit at the frontfoot

• Lining: Gore-Tex Duratherm

• Midsole: Bestflex FC, 100% rigid, but ultra-light thanks to the use
of carbon fibre

• Outsole: Vibram® TETON + EVA + TPU
