Made by Lowa, Expedition 8000 is a boot made for extreme expeditions at high altitudes and in polar zones. Protection against the cold is increased thanks to the long gaiter which is lined with a GoreTex membrane and DuraTherm, resulting in a boot that is waterproof, yet breathable, and insulates your feet from the cold. The inner shoe, including the gaiter, is detachable and the closure of the shoe is facilitated by special steel hooks. Expedition 800 has been awarded the prestigious Ispo outdoor Award.
