Mountaineers Simone Moro and Denis Urubko are nominated at Eiger Award, a prestigious prize considered as the “Oscar of Mountaineering”. The winner will be awarded on June 6th at Grindewald (Switzerland). Other nominations are Kurt Albert and Daniel H. Anker.
Moro and Urubko mountaineers recently climbed Makalu (8,473 m, Himalaya), a world first ascent in winter season.
