This past June 19-20 despite rain and hostile weather conditions, 100 riders competed on the Ortona circuit (Chieti, Italy) for the fourth race of Trofeo Centro Sud Italia championship.

The S1 class featured a strong battle between Davide Gozzini, Teo Monticelli and Massimiliano Porfiri, who had the chance to gain positions in the general ranking and cut distances with the leader Lorenzo Pes.

Maurizio Lucarini, manager together with his brother Valter of the championship sponsored by Vibram, was very enthusiastic about the race “[•••] on a circuit which fulfills the motard standards, despite the bad weather conditions reducing the number of the riders”.

Pes and all of the other absent bikers are expected to be back in action at the Limatola race (Benevento, Italy) to be held on July 19th.
