This past June 9-10 the Italian biker Davide Sottocornola won the Italian champion title in his home race getting the second position on the podium of Pogno (Novara, Piemonte region) at the third PRO of the Italian mountain-bike circuit, after the French Nicolas Vouilloz and before his countryman Alex Lupato.

Two French bikers, Isabeau Courdurier and Morgan Such, topped the female final ranking, followed by the Italian Marianna Uttini.

The Piemonte region will also host the first Supermountain race of the circuit, to be held next July 1st in Limone Piemonte (Cuneo).
