VIBRAM® in the Sports field
The light slowing down in Mountaineering and Trekking traditional markets, especially in North America, is balanced by the VIBRAM® breakthrough in Multisport shoe category due to the launching of new technical versatile soles.

 

VIBRAM® - BQI
The BQI (Brand Quality Innovation) strategy is working! The entire VIBRAM® team is now aware and, throughout the company, everyone is putting the strategy into effect in everyday operations. The indispensable element in BQI is brand protection.

 

VIBRAM® and diversification
Over the past few years, the VIBRAM® innovations adopted by the sports industry, not only in the footwear sector, include:

  • Gription-Tex rubberised fabric
  • SpiderWeb rubber mesh
  • anti-clumping inserts for CAMP crampons
  • VSM sole with interchangeable sliders for Supermotard racing
  • soles for booties intended for rescue dogs and the soles with special rubber inserts for ski boots.

 

VIBRAM® "Green"
At the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen (Germany), the VIBRAM® booth has received the Zero Impact label, a reference to the programme launched by LifeGate – Zero impact ® . The goal is to replant forests to compensate the quantity of CO² emitted to manufacture and equip the booth.

 

VIBRAM TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER
The VTC was inaugurated on 9 April and is now open and operational. In addition to the R&D teams already on hand, the goal of the centre is also to welcome various VIBRAM® partners. With time, the centre will became a true profit centre bringing together international know-how.
