VIBRAM®VSM is a concept that allowed Vibram to enter the motorcycling world.
A “sole+interchangeable sliders” system meets the requirements of supermotard bikers, often involved in gliding and touching the terrain with the foot while riding sharp turns.

VIBRAM® Supermotard sole is powered by VIBRAM® Mont rubber compound, which is highly resistant to abrasion. The interchangeable sliders, in rubber or nylon, are fixed on high friction areas (toe and heel) due to a screw system which allows them to be quickly and easily replaced.

By using the interchangeable sliders, VIBRAM®VSM provides:

• High performance: reduction of friction zones and, as a result, increased speed and control in sharp turns.
• Maximum flexibility: by choosing among different sliders, it is always possible to make the boots meet the biker’s requirements and the track’s conditions (wet, dry)
• Reduction of assistance costs: as the wear and tear involves only the sliders, by replacing the sliders, consumers can avoid purchasing a new boot each time.

The interchangeable sliders are available in three different versions:
• Dry Kit: sliders in nylon, for easy sliding on dry and very abrasive circuits. Ideal for beginner.
• Wet Kit: Vibram® SO-Bike rubber sliders, for wet tracks.
• Racing Kit: Vibram® Racing-Tech hybrid material sliders, for the best control in extreme conditions, for both wet and dry tracks.

As a natural evolution of VSM concept, VIBRAM®VSM Tech combines a new placement system for the sliders and an increased performing «pro-race» rubber. This technology is only available for Dry and Wet Kits.

VSM soles can be placed on all types of boots by Vibram cobblers.
